All joking aside, I've always really wanted to play the piano

I think I'm musical...I've played acoustic guitar for 3 years now, electric for 2, and violin for 7 years. Maybe Santa would be generous and get me a Fender Jag-Stang (the electric guitar Kurt Cobain himself designed) this year...

Played piano for about 2 years then gave up. I forgot nearly everything I learned and then started again about a year and a half ago. I took my Grade 1. I got 100% in the theory and 120 in the practical (scraped a merit). I could be taking my Grade 2 this month, but I decided not to as I have loads of exams on. I'm taking it at Easter instead.

I can play a bit on the keyboard. I am not that fast though, so it continues to sound like singular notes and not a tune . Also, Yugi, can you please put more than 'nope I don't'? Can you explain why you are not musical?

Well it's fine if you don't play any but it's nice to know something like that. It let's you relax and just strumming my guitar and basically wasting time relieves alot of stress. I view music basically as my window out of the harsh world of life. And Andy, keep working at it. You'll get better soon enough. Stick with playing some slower, easier tunes to begin with and once you get more familiar, you can play faster and faster pieces.
